The Society
Independent practice, without the isolation.
A professional collaborative platform connecting independent health and wellness practitioners across Long Island through symposiums, mixers, and shared clinical knowledge.
Why we exist
Most care on Long Island is delivered by practices that never meet.
A patient in pain routinely passes through a primary care office, an imaging center, a surgeon, a physical therapist, and a bodyworker. Each of those clinicians sees one segment of the route, and almost none of them share a chart, a room, or a conversation.
The Society exists to close that gap. We bring independent practitioners together in person, across disciplines, so the handoffs that usually happen by referral letter happen face to face instead. It is a simple premise, and it is the reason our symposium panel deliberately seats clinicians who do not normally share a stage.

What we do
Three ways the Society brings practitioners together.
Professional Symposiums
Specialized sessions featuring guest speakers and industry leaders, built so clinicians hear from disciplines other than their own.
Networking Mixers
Relaxed environments to connect with fellow Long Island practitioners, because most referral relationships start as a conversation rather than a directory listing.
Collaborative Workshops
Interactive events focused on elevating the standard of community care across the independent practices that deliver most of it.
Second Annual Symposium
Connecting the DOTS in pain care.
Our second annual symposium brings 7 clinicians across 6 disciplines to one stage for an evening of dining, exhibits, and an interdisciplinary panel.

Giving back
Every ticket goes to the Curvy Girls Scoliosis Foundation.
The Society is proud to donate 100% of ticket proceeds to Curvy Girls, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing peer-led support and mentorship to young women with scoliosis. Your attendance directly contributes to building confidence and resilience for these individuals within our community.
It is a deliberate pairing: scoliosis care crosses more disciplines than almost any other condition our panel covers.
